I’m an artist curator who encourages outstanding art
and experiences of art that will enrich people’s lives.
As a textile artist I explore my emotions in my work and as a curator I am drawn to works of art that have meaning and emotional power. I bring together creative and individual exhibitions, helping people to have a meaningful experience of art that is significant to them.
I’m based in Altrincham, Cheshire and used to work in the automotive industry, initially as a designer and then started my own successful consultancy business, flying all around the world to advise car, truck and supplier companies on colours, textiles, leather and other trim. I ran that business for over ten years and then put it aside to have my son and to get closer to the creative inspirations that had drawn me to design in the first place. I have a Master’s degree from the prestigious Royal College of Art in London.
I now work as a freelance curator, exhibition organiser and project manager with a specialist interest in textiles. I am currently Exhibitions Curator at the Waterside Arts Centre in Sale. I also work freelance and am always interested in making connections with venues and artists – please contact me if that’s you or someone you might know.
